Because you can't expect everything to work out.

For something that took me A LOT of courage to do, 

I am a little torn inside that things didn't go any further than they did.

Then again, I have to be understanding, because not everyone has the same feelings,

and things don't always turn out how you want them to. 

So in the back of my mind I keep the thought of the day when I meet someone that will turn my life right-side up, someone who will complete me.

Who will matter more than anything in the world to me, and I will to them.

But then I remember how my life has merely begun.

And that I have loads of time to figure that kind of stuff out.
